You can think of yoga nidra like mental acupuncture, or like a massage for your nervous system. This meditation is the second in my series exploring the 5 koshas, which are the layers of self in yogic philosophy. This meditation is a deep dive into annamaya kosha, or the physical body. This a full length journey where we explore each of the 5 koshas through the lens of the body: we explore the layers of the physical body, the physicality of the breath, somatic feeling, a visualization of authentic, embodied expression, and an orientation towards the observer consciousness.
